Arrival Story:
Jasmine is Aurora's sister, and they are Gemma's kittens, but don't tell her that...she still thinks she's a kitten...lol Gemma has been spayed to prevent any further kittens from being born.
Bio:
When Jasmine was around six weeks old, our dog Copper ended up getting hold of her. My husband found her on the front porch limp as a rag. My daughter and I snuggled her close in a towel and loved on her for quite some time. I was certain she wasn't going to survive, but she was breathing, had no signs of bleeding and could walk, although not very far at a time. I told my daughter we would see if she made it through the night. I was shocked to find her doing so well the next morning, and she started acting more and more like her usual self as more time went by. That's when we started referring to her as "Miracle Kitty." My daughter didn't realize it at the time when she named her Jasmine, but her name means "God's gift" and we think it is a very fitting name for her because we feel He is what kept her alive for us after her ordeal with Copper getting her.
