Arrival Story:
Poppy was wandering around the houses in the neighborhood, looking for food. A few kind people were leaving food out for me and my babies, so we survived. Or, most of us did. I only have two kittens now, but I used to have three. My two little girls are grown up enough to go to their own homes, and I'd like to find one all my own.
Bio:
Poppy is so friendly and starts to knead almost as soon as she's touched. This affection starved little girl wants someone to call home so badly she can taste it!
Unfortunately, Poppy has just tested FIV+. Without knowing her history, there's no way to know if she was ever vaccinated for it, which would make her test positive, or if she is a legitimate case. For now, she's definitely a possible positive and will need a special home.
Update: Poppy was adopted to a kind lady who used to be a vet tech to help care for her needs.
