Mom was "counting cats" this morning before she left for work. Dad was still sleeping since he works swing shift. Because Mom is getting older every day, she usually counts cats starting with the oldest cat to the youngest cat! MOL

I could not be found. Mom says I was in bed with her last night. That "was" last night wasn't it? Earlier this morning she cleaned some of my eye boogers. Or was that yesterday morning? She didn't remember seeing me show up for breakfast either, or did she? But, we don't all always show up for breakfast at the same time.

Mom looked everywhere, up and down, in closets, under furniture, in cat trees, behind curtains, outside, and couldn't find me. But I was right there, right there, right there! Huey was following her back and forth, up and down the stairs, in and out of every room he's allowed in.

It was getting where Mom was going to be late for work and had to be there early to take care of a couple of important things right away, so she left, even though I really am more important!

Mom called Dad as soon as she could to have him look for me, so he got up and went to the office. It took him a couple of minutes to focus and realize I was behind him all curled up on top of the cat condo. Mom says I wasn't there when she looked.

I wasn't lost. If anything was lost it was my Mom's mind!

We're good at hiding, aren't we?

MOL that's funny don't ya just hate it when they are right under your nose. Pebbles how could they miss that beautiful orange and white coat.

oh MOL that is funny and your mom is like mine, she always does a cat check before work and before going to bed, and my dad does shift work too so she will call him and check us during the day when he is off. Instead of going oldest to youngest, she starts the first cat she sees and counts on her fingers MOL. She goes in all the rooms looking for us if she cannot see one of us too.

My mommy thinks your mommy is amazing, she has trouble keeping tabs on me, like the other day when she was getting Ethan out of the door in his pram, I was quicker and got outside (only for a minute until I was caught). I bet you was hiding really well then moved to make your mommy think she was losing her mind LOL xx

MOL! Wait until your mom gets really old like ours is! She'll have to look at a list (if she can find it!) to see who is the oldest! I NEVER hide, though! *giggles*

Mom does a head count every morning before leaving for work.
We like to sneak into closets while she isn't paying attention.

She gets so scared when she thinks someone may have slipped out the door.

Glad you were in plain site and wasn't missing after all.

Yep, she has lost her mind. You were right there. She needs glasses. My MRS. uses a pill reminder thingy cause if she didn't who knows how many times a day Gleek would get his pills. MOL!
