Zeus came from Alachua County Animal Services where I saw him while feeding and playing in the cat room one day with my mother-n-law. As soon as I saw him, I fell in love. He had a rough start in life, but it certainly did not seem to affect him! He purred and rolled around for me, grabbing my fingers with his paws. I could not get him out of my mind and a week later when we returned to bring treats to the shelter, I could not resist taking him home with me. Within hours of being home, he was playing with his siblings and napping on the bed with them. In less than a week, they groom each other, eat together and snuggle! He was truly meant to be with us and we cannot imagine our home without him!
Bio:
Zeus came to live with us thanks to the love and generosity of our dear furiends Angels Buddie, Ricki, and furmily! After our sweet Angel Big Harry made his journey to the Bridge, our furiends sent us a gift to do something in Big Harry's honor. With it, we were able to pay Zeus' adoption fee and first vet visit! To honor the memories of Big Harry and Buddie and celebrate these wonderful orangie kitties, Zeus will take the middle name of "Big Buddy"- a proud orangie name that we know he will live up to!
