Arrival Story:
I really really really wanted a nice puppy and the boyfriend made me get a kitten instead (due to space constraints). So Kal was rescued from an existence as a trailer-park cat named 'Pumpkin'. I promptly fell madly, insanely in love with her and the rest is history.
Bio:
Kali was born August 2nd, 2004 to a trailer-park dwelling mom and a 20lb feral dad. She was named for the Vedic Goddess of death and destruction, but completely fails to live up to this name (Save the incident with my $250 Kenneth Cole shoes when she was a baby), and aside from the occasional hairball, she's an extremely easy cat to deal with. Kal is one of them low-maintenance companion types. Much like me, she's a stunning redhead (lol) with golden eyes, as you can see from her picture. She's really spoiled and bratty, but we love her anyway.
