Arrival Story:
We wanted to bring a new kitty into our home after adopting a rescue female. we thought she would enjoy the company. so off i toodled to a local farm, there i was face with a cage full of adorable kittens....but the only one that made any eye contact with me was the littlest runty kitten cowering in the back.....im a sucker for a runt. The lady explained how he was always the smallest...aww. So i scooped him up in my arms, snuggled into his little face, weve been inseperable since.

Bio:
When Batfink was 6mos old, he managed to get into our hallway cupboard while we were sleeping and got his little kitten leg trapped inbetween two boxes, we rushed him to the vets and were horrified when it turned out he had broken his back leg. i was sent home with out my baby boy, and the vet suggested that i think about having his leg removed as he said the fracture could not be fixed. my poor boy! Very fortunatley a vet came forward after meeting Batfink in the vets and said it would be a shame for something this severe to happen to such a small kitty. he offered to do the surgery for him, he said it might not work and he could lose his leg anyway but he wanted to try. we got a call later saying it was successfull....then 4days later brought my little man home to snuggle. He has grown into a little silky gentleman, he loves to play outdoors, and brings us various interesting breakfast presents...including a starling, a mouse and a full sized MOLE! Batfinks favourite place is curled up in bed near my head with his paws holding my hand.....never had a cat like him!

Ive been watching the little fluffball gizmo, pouncing and running. Seeing him chase his tail in a circle makes me dizzy, so ive decided to lay down here next to the hoover and keep and eye on him.

Last few days here have been unhappy for me, ive come home with a bit of my beautiful silky fur misssing and now i have a sore bit on my neck, my guardian: (Mummmy) confined me to the room ALL day yesterday, THE CHEEK!

She checked on me regularly , this i found very annoying. However sometimes she would bring in a treat! Some of that white creamy milk i like to have when no other kittys are around,it is our secret, it makes me purr and feel full and warm.

I decided not to wash or play yesterday, didnt feel like it, mummy would come in and wash me with a clean wet flannel, i dont much care for that but i give her a nose kiss and purr for her efforts.
After a long sleep i got up to scratch the door for my escape...there was alot of happy smiles and excitement when i was walking through the halway, My other guardian gave me some tasty biscuits to eat and i felt alot better.

''I would like to go out for my evening stroll now '' i said, but mum just looked at me lovingly and tried to cuddle me...bleaurh.... i resorted to walking back and forwards to the door....

My eveing walk was somewhat uneventfull, and i could here my guardian calling me constantly from the garden so there was no chance of hunting for my supper.....Ah well, i toodled home to chase the fluffball around and off to sleep again.

And now today here i am feeling 100 times beter and Mum is still fussing over me, following me, tring to lay down next to me. I am a big boy now mum...look at me in comparison to Gizmo...

Let me be, i just want to lay here next to the hoover watching gizmo, and quietly contemplate....
