O my, what a terrible discovery. The whole world is NOT my friend. Well, at least Lottie is not my friend. Don't understand. I just like to play and dance and share my wonderful life. Lottie was sleeping on Daddy's bed. That be MY bed. I just jumped up to play. Daddy tried to stop me, but I thought that was part of the game. I startled Lottie. I didn't know she wouldn't like it. I didn't know. She was suddenly all claws and snarls. She scratched my eye! My poor eye that is already a little weaker. I got so scared I ran. It hurt and I ran and ran and hid! Mom found me and saw right away I had a big cut on my cornea. I kept squinting and rubbing and wiggling. She called Dr. Stacy and it was off to the vet! I got real quiet in the carrier. Did not cry at all. When we got to Dr. Stacy's I just lay on Mom's lap and did not move at all. No crying, wiggling, just laying there. Dr. Stacy put drops in my eye that made the cut show up bright purple. She said I got so quiet because it hurt really bad and I did not know what to do with that. So she gave me some pain medication and eye ointment. I just wanted my daddy!

We got home but he had gone to work. I don't like the eye medicine and I hissed at the purple towel cause that was what mom used to make me into a burrito give give my medicine. That pain stuff good though. I finally went to sleep and when I woke up, my daddy had come home. I snuggled in his arm and went back to sleep. What a hard day.

They are the tough lessons that we learn when we are little. I'm sorry she hurt your eye, that sounds very painful. Feel better soon; snuggles with Mommies and Daddies are good for making things feel better too.

so sorry little girl. I know that Lottie didn't mean to hurt you. I get scratched pretty regularly by the BUB. she's mean to me. but i just deal with it. She's small but fierce.
Into multi cat households every day a little rain must fall.
You will be ok, Phoenix Naomi. You are a tough little girl. I'm sorry you have to go through this...it's scary but you guys will work things out.

Sorry to hear about your eye. Hope it feels better soon. That Lotti better be careful, you could grow up to be bigger than her. MOL We're a multi-cat family and we agree with Orange Ruffy. We all have our moments and then the next thing you knows we are snuggled up together like nothing happened. You'll get it all figured out.
