Eating, rolling around in flowers, destroying paper towel rolls, and jumping into the shower with us
Being chased by tweens who think he is cute
A catnip mouse

A little boy became fascinated with a series of books called "The Warriors." He asked his parents if he could get a cat, but not just any cat, he wanted the ultimate cat. He googled the ultimate cat, and lo and behold, he discovered the cats called Bengals. Next thing he knew, in a far away place called Sacramento, California, a little kitten named Jasper, named after the stone he resembled, was waiting for him. He arrived the day before Passover after a long trip on an airplane to the big city called New York. He lives in Riverdale where lives in an Old English Tudor building, plays in its gardens, and is loved by its tenants and doormen who love their tiny leopard cat.
Jasper is from Heartfelt Bengals in Sacramento California. They did a wonderful job socializing him (he was supposed to be a show cat but decided that it was not the life for him). He is very active, curious and has a charming personality. He never hisses or scratches.

This week has been horrible. First of all, it rained and rained. I had to stay in or hang out in the covered archway. I must of jumped out of the kitchen window into the archway 50 times, walk down the cobblestones only to find it still coming down.
I was sleeping in the corner of the big bedroom and all of a sudden I heard a large boom. Curious, I went to the window and watched the storm. THe skies were lit up. The large man that always demands my mistress's attentions was amused and called her and said my name. I found that unusual since he detests my very existence, all because of a leather chair. He has mentioned it on numerous times. He had even booked a declawing, but mistress saved my talons at the last minute. To think, I would have never climbed a tree. I did not help things by demanding to shower with him. Honestly, there was plenty of room in there. He bellows loudly when I get in with him. I think it is the rudest thing. Mistress loves it when I visit her bah. I sit on the edge, and dip my tail in, swinging it back and forth. It is even more fun when she puts int he bubbles. I look funny when I have a bubble beard.
The man says I am a hypocrite. I pretend to be afraid of him sometimes but then I jump on the counter when he is cooking, usually in an attempt to steal a piece of chicken or fish, or sit next to him on the bed, usually to get my mistress up to feed me, and he takes my sudden courage as duplicity. A cat has to eat and desperation takes hold. Do I sometimes come over and investigate the creature she is mated to. Most certainly, as I am flabbergasted to his hold over her. But I assure you dear reader, this experience only occurs when he is sleeping and making those strange, noises mistress calls snoring. I disdain his touch and glare at his few attempts to pet me. when he does I just shoot him an evil lolk, walk away, and wash away his odious touch.
Since the despicable man took the loud girls that chase me out, I was able to sleep on mistress's bed without fear of interruption. It is a lovely featherbed and I curled up. She cold not resist but give me a scratch under my chin. Perhaps later, I will ask for a belly rub.
The rain stopped, the moon is out, and I have to run.
