So I is gettting tired of this whole three eye drops a day routine. Da drops are not really da problem. Da problem are my momma waking me up in order to put dat junk in my eye. I is asleep! I do not wants to have to get up and get dumb drops.
My eye are looking bout da same, but momma was not really expecting a whole lotta improvement yet. Here are a picture of me.
Da eye are not really better yet.
Thanks so much for all da purrs and POTP, I know dey is helping, even if my momma can't see da improvement yet. And I'll be purring dat momma quits dis whole nappus interruptus routine of hers. At least I are getting lots of kitty treats for all of dis!
Aww, Charlie...sorry you have to endure all that nap busting junk...
Hope you get better and can stop that soon...
Sending you big purrs from all of us!
Oh, Charlie, poor guy!! I wish the drops worked faster or that they could use a higher concentrate less often, but it's usually steroids, so they have to be cautious. They want to give you as much as you can tolerate throughout the day, so your body gets used to it. At the beginning especially it should be at the exact same time every day so it's level in your bloodstream. After that, 15 or 20 minutes won't matter as much. Is your mama already waiting that long? She could go in the kitchen and make some tea or something, that would definitely get Snow to wake up! Or start bouncing a little ball against the wall. Remember, kitties have the ability to wake up on a moment's notice, fully alert. Even if you were sleeping deeply, bouncing a ball a few times then pausing might give you the level that your mom needs. I'm sure this is hard for her too. Just be patient, because the medication does work, there's little doubt, especially for an infection. The best prognosis is given for those who treat the first occurrence well. Our purrayers are with you!!!
Luv, Tink & Snow
Prayers and purrs from all of us too sweet Charlie it will get better sweetie
Tink, I is getting my drops at 9 in da morning 5 in da afternoons, and 1 at night. And you is right - da dropses are steroids. Momma are gonna try waking me up first instead of just grabbing me - maybe dat will help me some more with da whole waking up thing.
Poor Charlie! I hope those drops start working quick so you can get some rest! That's no fun! Purrs.
We are purring your eyes will get better soon, it is never easy to have things done to us...I don't like getting my asthma treatments, but Mom tells me that it will help me...so my sweet Charlie just remember Mom is doing the eye drops because she loves you and they will help your eyes get better
Hugs and purrs
Charlie you are lookin' so thin... you got me worried so we are gonna keep purrin' for you ♥
How inconvenient to be woken up at 1 at night. That's the time when I'm deep asleep cuddled up against Mom. I can see how that would be irritating for you. Just hang in there. You gotta have your med'cin. We'll keep purring and praying.
Oh my catness! Charlie, you poor little guy. Icky eye drops and being woken up? What's up with that? I hope you are feeling better real soon and don't need any more of this icky bad stuff! Lots of purrs for you.
Purring for you, dude! Sounds like a real bummer all around. But I bet you'll start seeing a difference soon!
How are you feelin' nowadays Charlie?
My eye is starting to look a little better and I go back to the vet on Thursday. I'm really tired of these drops though!
