Arrival Story: My husband plays in a Classic Rock band. One night at a Gig, we were loading the equipment. I noticed what I thought was a rabbit hopping thru the parking lot...in the middle of town??? As it got closer I realized it was a kitten. As a walked over to it I noticed someone had put twisty ties around its front and back paws, producing the hopping. I immediatly realeased him from his bindings and put him under my coat and got into the van. I little ways down the road he began to mew, a very raspy mew, he was very hoarse. My husband commented, Regina, tell me you don't have that cat!! OK I said I won't tell you. When we get home, my husband still upset I had brought home yet another animal.....would not let me bring him into the house. Disease and the unknown to your family of animals. I made him a little place out on the porch, shelter, blanket, food, and water. That night we had the strom of the century....living in Oklahoma we get some hefty winds. I went to check on him, (actually to bring him in. My husband wouldn't know until morning), and he was gone!!! Box, blanket, and all. I was so upset. Nothing I could do, went back to bed. When I got up the next morning, ready to be all kinds of mad, I go into the living room and what do I see but my husband holding, and loving on this kitten.! He went to get me my coffee and the kitty followed him into the kitchen mewing that raspy mew over and over. I was saying come here raspy, and as the cat is going in and out of my husbands legs, he says no we need to call him Rasputin. Upon saying this he realized what he had done....he says, I just lost didn't I? Yep, you name it its ours!! Another wonderful addition to our family

Bio: Raspy loves to sit on the back of the chair or couch to listen to my husband play guitar.
