Arrival Story:
Well my family had put down our 11-year-old Domestic Shorthair (Calico) cat named Tiger Lily in September 2011. We didn't want to spend years grieving as we knew there were other cats that needed adopting. So we found Buttercup and her 2 sisters (Lily-Rose and Sweet Pea). The rest is history!
Bio:
Buttercup and her 2 sisters were born in the mountains of Pennsylvania. Their Mommy was trying to protect them from the wild animals, most likely racoons and foxes. The other 2 sisters (Sweet Pea and Lily-Rose) had fled to the safety of a tree, but poor Buttercup was caught by the tail and bitten by an animal. She also saw the Mommy die protecting her kittens from the animal. Buttercup now has a spot of scar tissue on her beautiful tail where the fur will never grow back.

My mom, or as we 3 call her, meowmy, wants to train me as a show cat! I'm sooooooo excited! I can't wait to start training, but first I must go find some socks to snuggle up to.
