   Leave a treat for Comet

Arrival Story:
I am not the guardian of Comet, just someone who would like to help him get adopted. All credit for bios, info, photos, videos, diaries, etc., goes to Good Mews ANimal Foundation in Marietta, GA. More info: mews/catalog_results/fc878b4040bc0 4cc6813631c81b1bab2/

Comet is not a happy boy. When he first came to Good Mews, he was so friendly and loved all the attention he was getting. After a few days, he started to get upset and cranky. I think when he first arrived, he thought he was there for a slumber party. But when that party started lasting several days and his family had not come for him, he became very confused. Comet had been in the same home his whole life. For reasons unknown to us, his guardian’s husband wanted him out! He said if she did not find him a new home soon, he was dropping him off in the woods. Now, how is a 12 year old, declawed cat who had probably never been outside, supposed to survive on his own in the woods?? It is heartbreaking to even think about. Comet deserves so much more than that. He is a very sweet boy that loves attention. He is just not happy being in a strange place, with a bunch of strange cats. Once he is settled into a new home, and getting the love he deserves, he will be fine. Please consider Comet if you are looking for a nice senior kitty to join your family. Comet is front declawed.

I would like to say this, black is not bad!!!! I get it, a black cat means bad luck. But do you really belive that bogus!? The last thing I want to do is cause you bad luck. Especially if that prevents me from geting adopted. Guess what! My shelter humans said they would lower the price for the month of May 2012, just because I'm black!!!! See, i'm not bad luck at all!
