Hi Everybody!
I am black, therefore I am forever cursed with the dreaded black cat syndrome. Now I'm not quite sure what it is, but the lovely shelter humans say that it is keeping me from getting adopted. WHY!? Please help me rid this dreaded curse! I REALLY want to have a home. And my the shelter humans even said that for May, they would lower my adoption price, just because i am a black cat!!!! See, I'm not all that bad! Please help me get adopted soon! check out my account and tell everyone!!!
Black isn't bad/i'm not scary,
Champ

I have to say, I'm a busy cat. First, I've got to check out what's happening out the window. Next, I'll see if any closets or cupboards need looking into. And then there are my naps--can't be late for those. I can fit a little socializing into my schedule. Shall we plan on breakfast and dinner? I hope you like kibbles.

Champ is FIV+, but don’t let that scare you! He is a wonderful, outgoing fellow that would make the perfect companion.
FIV+ cats can live long and healthy lives. They can also live safely with FIV-negative cats. FIV is spread through severe bite wounds, so it is important that your kitties get along.
Champ would do great as a single cat and would also do wonderful in a home with other kitties. He gets along with everyone and wouldn’t mind having a good buddy or two.
To learn more about FIV, please read our two articles under the Advice tab on our home page. www.goodmews.org
A generous donor has paid Champ’s adoption fee!
