Arrival Story:
As soon as we were married and settled, we set out to look for our fur baby. We went to two shelters before we found our Toby sitting quietly in a cage alone. He was 6 weeks old and had only been there a few days. According to the workers, he was very shy, but he loved us holding him and when we put him back, he stared at us and cried. The workers said that was the first time they had heard him meow so we knew he was crying for us! We were back to get him first thing the next morning as soon as our apartment cleared us. He became anything but shy! He's outgoing, friendly and curious about newcomers, and a sweet and fluffy part of our lives. We call Toby our honeymoon baby since according to his records, he was born while we were on our honeymoon.

Bio:
After a happy 2 1/2 years in Birmingham, AL, Toby moved with us back to our homestate of South Carolina. He handled the move like a pro including spending a weekend at his grandparents while we moved in our new house. He loved his old house with the backyard full of birds, so we were nervous how he'd adjust. But Toby only spent 5 hours hiding under a bed. He loves the huge staircase and gives mommy a heart attack by running down them so fast. He also loves all the birdfeeders in the backyard and the huge windows in the front to watch the activities around the cul-de-sac. Oh and the best part of the move - we found his favorite cat toy which had somehow found a way to get lodged between the bedpost and the wall!
