Arrival Story:
I actually picked Zoey out at the local PetSupermarket with a friend (now ex friend). This person, a coworker, was a germ freak and did not want Zoey to go in the kitchen or wander her house. She appeared to care for her but kept her in one room without the blinds open, litter changed every couple of days, and little contact besides her teenage son. Since Zo was crying throughout the day trapped in this room, that the owner was either going to send her to the shelter or I could take her. I live in a no pet condo so I fostered her out for 2 months until I could get a therapy note...now 6 months later Zo lives both inside and in a screened in porch, has a joyous tower, and lots of love...:)
Bio:
She has food allergies to chicken. Now on a salmon/tuna diet, she will wheez and have a runny nose if the protein is chicken. Her previous owner knew about her condition but she does not like fish herself so would not change her diet! She is in the process of being toilet trained! Zo is a very loving and resilient cat. She is also very loyal, what I would compare similarily to a dog. She waits by the shower until I step out, will look in the blinds if I go outside, and comes when I call her name!
