Hello, New World!
It has been an eventful few days for me. First I will tell you a little about me. I hope to get to know you better and be your friend.
A few months ago, I was a new mom. I was cold and hungry and looking for food for my kitten. A nice lady saw me and tried to get someone to take and care for us. Before they could come, someone called the animal police and we were taken to a shelter in mid-southern Michigan.
My baby was adopted right away, but no one wanted me. Because I was so friendly I was selected for the local community college vet tech program, where I was tested, vaccinated, and spayed. A nice lady, Janet, from a rescue group in the Detroit area came for me (www.sheltertohome.com), and I was a guest in her home. She took very good care of me. About a week ago, she took me out to a big pet store to meet a lady and a man. The lady especially really liked me and I liked her. A week later, my foster mom Janet took me out again to the store, and this time the man and lady took me home with them! They told me they are my new parents!
They took me at first to a nice warm room in their house. I really didn't like it and wanted to walk around. The next day, they let me out to roam the house. I have brothers and a sister! I am not sure what I think of any of them yet. I have let them know they can't scare me.
I do know I really like my Mom and Dad. I think I am going to be really happy here!
Good day, and Happy Easter and Passover!
