Mom calling our newbie Tammy. Pretty sure she's a girl. So pretty. Not any bigger than Phoenix. She looking skinnier than she did when Mom first saw her and that has mom a little concerned. Drop box trap out on location but should come home Tuesday. Hopefully pretty soon after that we'll be able to help her.

Hunting Season Started Today!

I may not be around anymore, but I still am mom's feral kitty, TNR reporter. So, mom says hunting season started this morning at 5:00am. Yikes, that be early! She and another volunteer spent two hours trying to dropbox a cute little black tux who needs to get snipped. He be in a colony where everyone else fixed. But - no go this morning. Try again next week.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch - okay, our house, there be a new drama unfolding. This perfectly boootiful brown marmalade kitty with gorgeous blue eyes been coming around for just about two weeks. No one every saw her/him? before till now. Couple of peeplz call mom (they call her the cat poleez). Finally got this kitty coming into our yard to eat a little, but the little charmer is very afraid. Tonight Mom get a phone call that this be the kitty of a man who took his own life two weeks ago about two blocks away. Poor kitty!! Must be so confused and afraid!! Mom gonna get with Officer Melanie (a real poleez person) to find the man's next of kin to confirm he had the kitty and see about finding little one a home. Hope to have a picture here soon. She putting out the trail cam in the morning.

Thanks to everyone for my wonderful gotcha zealies! Mom has a friend who has a feral colony abut 4 blocks away her her house. While friend is gone for a month, Mom said she'd feed the kitties and do a number for her using the trailcam for several days. Guess who's feeding there! Well, maybe it be me. There are not many black kitties in our area. Picture did not reveal much, but then I always was good a hiding from the camera. Be it me? I'll never tell, but maybe.....maybe.....
