We have a female Japanese Bobtail we rescued (as well as an almost eleven year old American Eskimo dog rescue). We decided another cat would help keep our very high energy Bobtail entertained, so we recently rescued a tailless Siamese kitty from the same place we got our Bobtailed girl from.
