I adopted Ali from NCISN (North Central Indiana Spay & Neuter) at the local PetSmart in April 2002. My 12 year old black kitty Ambrosia had to be put down because she had a terminal illness. My co workers couldn't stand me without a cat so they took me to PetSmart. I was led into the room and Ali was in the upper right hand corner of all the kitties. I talked to each one, but she was the only one that responded. She looked right at me and meowed. I put my fingers up to her and she proceeded to lick them. The nice lady said that was her way of giving kisses. She then asked if I wanted to hold Ali. I did and then Ali purred like crazy. The lady said, "She's sprung". So Ali was paid for and then taken home that very day.

They say April Showers bring May Flowers.
Here in Indiana May brings more rain.
May is also the month I was born in.
I watch the birdies and try to get them, I love lying in the windowsill soaking up the sun and fresh air, curling up on mommy's lap and just generally being adorable.

With April in Indiana comes a lot of rain. I don't mind rain but am really scared of thunder, lightning and tornadoes.
Mommy comforts me when I am scared.
Mommy does my diary entries for me as I am not a good typist. I am a smart kitty and I help her with the games she plays.

It's almost March and around Indiana its all about basketball.
Mommy and I don't care for it.
This does finally end winter around here and puts us into Tornado season. I hate thunderstorms so you can imagine the panic when the sirens go off and the sky turns green.
So if any of you live where there are storms like these make sure your humans take extra good care of you when they come.
