Arrival Story:
He was found in the park where I walk my dogs and brought to the animal shelter where I work. he didn't like being in a cage and tried to escape through the bars. He rubbed away the fur on his face in the process leaving two lines down his eyes. Since he wasn't coping well at the shelter, I brought him home to foster and he never left.

Bio:
The injuries to his eyes made him look like the sad clown from the opera Pagliacci. Since the shelter had originally given him the name of Eli - same name as my late husky - I knew a name change was in order.
