Arrival Story:
I've always had dogs, but miss Rossi is my first cat. It all started when the local shelter asked me to foster a litter of three, two-week old orphan kittens. Two females & one little male. I originally had no intentions of keeping any, but after six weeks of bottle feeding and playing 'mommy' to the the three little munchkins, there was no way that I couldn't not keep one. (In fact, I still keep in close contact with the families that adopted the other two kittens)Little Rossi seemed to be the best fit for my household..she got along really well & seemed most attached to my dog & myself...so when she hit seven weeks old, the paperwork was filled out & it became official!
Bio:
Soon after adopting my little girl, we found out that she had a grade two heart murmur..as the weeks progressed,her breathing seemed to be getting worse, so by 4months old we opted to do X-rays & ultrasound...that's when we found out that she has Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. Other than that, she is a normal, happy, mischievous little monster..and I love her to death :)
