Arrival Story:
We adopted Chase as a kitten from a family in our town who had many, many cats. All were thin...looked malnourished, and nearly all were classic tabbies...except Chase who somehow carried the gene from an American Shorthair ancester. His markings were gorgeous...classic bullseye on each side, with a beautiful brown undercoat, nose and facial markings. He grew in our home to be a 14lb rolly-polly, and plush-coated boy.
Bio:
Chase recently (feb 5, 2012)was snatched from the jaws of death when he completely blocked with urinary crystals. He spent all night in a veterinary ER and I then transferred him to my own vet where he spent 4 nights with IV fluids running and medication. With him on the best urinary diet money can buy,and many more water recepticles around the house, I am hoping he has no more problems.
