It has been almost two weeks since I moved into my new home. I have been spending my time upstairs in a bedroom and bathroom. Mom and Dad come and visit me often. Mom says she is hoping I will be able to come out of my room by the end of this weekend.
The first night in my new home, I bit Mom. She said it was okay because I was a very scared kitty. Everything was so new to me since I had been living outside on my own. Now, I let Mom pet me and I just purr and purr. I have tried a couple of times to bit Mom but only in play. Mom just tells me "no" and keeps on playing with me. I have to say I don't really do much playing for a two year old kitty but Mom thinks that will change once I meet my new fur family and get adjusted to my new home.
Last night Mom let me meet my two dog brothers, Kaiser and Jaeger, and my two youngest cat siblings, Mokka and Maui. Mom says our first meeting went really well. The only one that hissed was Maui and just once when she first met me.
Mokka came into my room and started playing with the Yeowww Banana that Mom had tried to get me to play with. He was acting like I wasn't even there. Maui was really cautious when she was in the room but she walked around sniffing everything. The dogs were only allowed to sniff me and then Mom made them leave as they were getting really excited. Mom said they just want to play with me. I sniffed them back but I did not hiss or give them smacky paws. Mom said she was very proud of me.
Our meeting only lasted about 15 minutes and then Mom told everyone it was time for everyone to leave so I did not become overwhelmed by the introductions. She told me that I would get to meet more of my siblings tonight. Hmmm. You mean there is more. How many siblings do I have? Sounds like it is going to be an interesting weekend.
Got to run for now so I can play pawsies under the door with Mokka.

How sweet that you are getting to meet your furblings in shifts as it were...and that you and they are getting along. Isn't the paws under the door game fun...and then it helps you to get to know your brofur, too!
We hope your freedom, when you get it will be furry pawsome!
Welcome to the great plawlace to romp, called Catsterland!
