Well I've finally arrived. Mum's been meaning to get me and my brother Ollie a page. She will sort out one for Ollie soon.

Mum's been down in the dumps for a while, but she has started to cheer up. We've all been very sad since my beautiful little brother Alfie died. He had a that nasty, merciless disease FIP. Mum is worried that me and Ollie might get it. The vet says that it isn't likely, but that won't stop her worrying.

Mum took me and Ollie to the vets yesterday so that we could have our blood tests to see if we are healthy. I don't like going to the vets much, personally I'd rather stay in the house and sleep in my nice warm bed. They all love me at the vets and the coo and fuss over me when I get there, which I do like.

Anyway I've been awake far too long so I am going back to bed.

We also believe that it's very unlikely little Alfie transmitted this terrible illness to you or Ollie.

welcome sweet my mom loves you and little Alfie already, we dont' think it is likes Alfie transmitted anything to you either. Non of my siblings or house mates got sick and I was home sick for several weeks.

Welcome to catster, so sorry about your brofur. We have lost a foster to FIP and know how hard it can be to lose one just starting out. But a friend sent mom a poem called "we choose tears" it is in my brofur Rascal's diary .. I am sure he will watch over lil Alfie since Rascal is head of the orange cat posse, angel division. I hope you enjoy your time here at catster and maybe stop in some of the fun groups to visit and play.
