Arrival Story:
Dave just arrived one day back in June 2009. He wouldn't go away no matter what we did. He had a collar so I knew he belonged to someone. I finally let him in one Wednesday in August and took off his collar so that I could open the barrel to find out about his owner. It simply had the name Dave written on a piece of paper and a phone number. I called the number and spoke to a lady who was his owner and told her where Dave was. She said she would stop by on Sunday to pick him up. I thought this was strange because I'd have been round like a shot. Dave was really affectionate and it was really hard not to fall in love with him. He looked really healthy and well looked after, but he had never been neutered and I expect that's why he had wandered off. Sunday came and his owner came to pick him up. She just put him on the back seat of her car and drove off. Anyway he was back that night. I called her again and then I put him in a basket and took him back to her house. He came back again. After about 3 weeks of this I decided something had to be done about Dave because he obviously wasn't happy where he was. He'd decided to adopt us and we didn't get a choice in the matter. So I asked her if she would be willing to sell Dave to me and sign him over to my care. She agreed and he moved right in the same day. Within a week Dave was at the vets. He got a clean bill of health and was given his vaccinations and was booked in to be neutered and microchipped. He has been a much loved and very happy member of the family ever since.

Thank you all my friends.

Can you believe I am 4 years old. Mum wasn't really sure exactly what date I was born on because when she got me from my first human in the September she said I was about 18 months old. Mum worked it back, but decided to give me the date of 1st May. She said it was probably close enough.

I am growing into a big, strong and healthy boy. My pawrents just love me so much. They think I am a big softy. Hhmph - How dare they! I am a big rough tough puss!!!! MOL

Ollie is not pleased

My lovely Mummy has got me a new brother and sister. I don't know what to make of it all. I knew she would sooner or later, it was a foregone conclusion. I just didn't think she would do it so soon.

She knew it was a mistake to visit them, she knew she wouldn't be able to help herself. She told herself this for the entire time it took to travel to their house and as predicted she took one look at the tiny furballs and they stole her heart. She said it's because the little ginger he cat has Alfie's face.

The little ginger he cat and the little tabby she cat are the best of friends. Where he goes she goes and where she goes he goes, a bit like me and Alfie.

Mum doesn't know that I am scared. I was really frightened of Alfie when she brought him home, but I soon realised he was my very best friend.

Ollie is not pleased, he doesn't like kittens. Come to think of it he doesn't like any other feline in any shape or form. I was so upset when I lost my little buddy, but Ollie wasn't the slightest bit bothered. Mean old puss. He is such a bully and likes to have a swipe at me sometimes just to keep me in my place.

I am so glad the kittens are coming it will brighten the place up and make it feel like home again.

Ollie will sulk MOL!!!

Thank you Mummy.

In the Clear & On Camera

Well would you believe it. We got our test results a little while ago and me and Ollie don't have the coronavirus. Mum is over the moon. She says the money for the blood test was worth every penny. She was dreading getting the results because she thought lovely little Alfie might have caught the virus from me. I am glad soooh glad he didn't. He was my best friend and I miss him.

Anyway since Mum gave me my very own page she has been following me around the house with the camera. She delights in taking photos of me in compromising situations. I do wish she wouldn't do that!!! I can't wait for Ollie to get his own page she can follow him about for a change. He won't like that.

What is it with Mum's and cameras???

Can't an innocent kitty get some rest without the paparazzi following him around?

Well really!!! I ask you??
