Hello All! I hear from the grapevine that Heather has been on here whining about myself and Andy again.
The spineless wimp - I tell you that is exactly what she is! The minute there is a strange noise in the house or the dog starts barking madly - she is GONE in a FLASH to that basement to hide beneath the wardrobe! Such a coward.
Now me I don't come out immediately I use caution, and peek out from the bedroom and then if the company suits me I come out and greet all.
And as for Andy yes he is here - still tries to corner me and wash my ears the affectionate fool that he is. On that I agree with Heather he is a lovesick fool when it comes to women in general especially our mom.
As for me I race around the joint like I own it - well, as a matter of fact I do when my mom's not around. And right now is especially good because she has no voice and therefore cannot scold me the way she usually does. Oh not that she hurts us, she'd never lay a finger on any of us, think she'd personally clobber anyone or anything that tried. But right now she cannot talk hardly let alone raise her voice to scold us in any way. Course I am doing my very best to cure her with my purrs. Lol.
Have been here over 6 months now - wow, where has the time gone, like Heather said. And yes we do sample Andy's food before he eats it - he is so kind to let us do that in my opinion.
Mom keeps hinting about the vet, and I know Heather keeps telling me about it, what to expect and all of that. But have yet to see any signs of it so will cross that bridge when I get to it I suppose.
But like Heather I agree - life is good here and we are happy.
I still like to cuddle on my mom's arm too - though I am bigger now and do so less often and I am too big - so I just kinda lay across it now. But I purr my head off of course.
But I am happy which is most important and Andy is good to be around unlike the dogs I had in the home where I was born.
Well I hear Andy chasing and barking - must go investigate matters. Heather has likely made a mad dash for that basement again - the wussie!
Until the next time, it is me Lady signing off on her kitten report.

Hello all - it is me LADY and yes I have arrived. Well, I tell you, the indignities!
First that cat, Heather took one look at me, she sniffed, her tail got big then she skulked off to that basement to her usual hiding place underneath the wardrobe. Little coward - not outward & cute & friendly with people. Not at all like me.
And then there was "That dog" Andy wagging his tail happily and sniffing me and trying to wash my ears - doesn't he know that cats & dogs are not supposed to get along? Not at all acting like Winnie that Bulldog did or Happy Dog the Corgi ... actually acted Andy did like he liked cats! Course I quickly & effectively spat at him ... the mutt.
So she let me out of that carrier - I mewed I tell you during that trip - took me away from my mom and my sister - they'd already taken my brothers away - the rats! I wandered around the place, used the facilities once she showed me and put the scratching post closer to where the food dish was cause I was too little at that time to get up there.
But I happily ate once she did that - then it was bed time - so I cuddled in with my new mom - she was nice and warm and I purred and cuddled into the crook of her arm. And that's just where I stayed for the night.
Yes and that dog was around too and even that Heather that night showed up too - she decided to come around I guess.
But that was over a month ago and now the dog & I are best friends - I sample his food from his dish while he watches and even Heather does too. Dog still washes my ears and leaves them soggy but he my friend now. Even Heather will play with me now & then until she has enough and growls at me. I swear though honestly that cat needs to get some backbone! She runs each time company comes like they will eat her or something! Not me no way - am going to make sure they know I am around believe me.
Well so much for now, until the next time this is me Lady on the Kitten Beat!
