Arrival Story:
Egon and Astrid are one entity. Egon is our ginger, and Astrid our calico. Their mother followed us home, and their father followed an elderly man who could not keep him home, and we took them both in. Unfortunately, mom was too smart for her own good, and before we could spay her, she opened a door (With a round knob!) and got herself in trouble while we were gone. Her water broke on my foot at around 10AM on May 1st, 2011. She delivered three kittens in our bathroom... One died on May 5th.
Egon and Astrid grew up in our home, and are family. Sadly, their parents are no longer with us either. Mom had to be euthanised for aggressive thyroid cancer when they were nine weeks old; dad's health took a turn for the bad and he went into shock and died when they were six weeks old.
Egon and Astrid both enjoy wearing SoftPaws to keep their claws in their best shape, and spending every waking moment letting us know how much they love everything.
