Dear Alfie

It is Dave's Birthday today. He is 4 years old. Where does the time go. He is such a big, gorgeous softy and I just love him to bits. I feel a bit guilty because I forgot his birthday. I only remembered because Catster sent me an email about it. How bad is that? I suppose it is because I have been so wrapped up in worrying about the Buzz and Boo. He has had emails and prezzies and is very proud of his picture that was sent to him from Manytoes.

Alfie I am stopping at my Brothers house tonight and I miss my furbabies so much. Only one night away from them and the minute my back is turned Dad let them escape out of the front door while he was talking to me on the mobile. I could hear all the noise at the other end while he frantically tried to get them both back indoors. Boo decided to hide under his car. I told him to be careful and that he should make sure that they are well and truly away from the door when he opened it because I could tell they are ready to explore, but did he listen "OH NO". I was so very cross Alfie. Anyway it must have spooked them because within a couple of minutes they were back indoors. Thankfully. I could feel my heart in my throat.

Alls well that ends well or so they say.

Goodnight Alfie. I miss you little fella.
