Napping on the softest blankies available. Rubbing catnip on her face.
She doesn't like being picked up around her tummy.
A quartz ball we play "roll the ball back and forth" with and a jingle bell furry collar she carries around with her
Favorite Nap Spot:
In her zebra-print lambswool bed
Wysong Epigen, fed from mommy's hand (of course) lol
She can roll a ball across the room for me to roll back to her!
Freya's early kitten hood is shrouded in mystery. She was discovered at one year old, after having been spayed, tattooed, and ear-tipped, running up and down a residential street near a rural area. She was screaming as she ran as if something was chasing her. A kind-hearted woman picked her up and brought her into her home. Although she was taken in as a catch-and-release feral cat by the Humane Society to be spayed, I think she was socialized at a young age.
The proximity to a farming community made me think that perhaps she was handled by children on a farm as a barn cat kitten. When she was old enough that the farmer had to feed her, I think she was dumped along the road (sadly, a common practice in the country) where she was later picked up by the Humane Society.
She's the mellowest, sweetest cat I've ever met. She's also a real stunner. I feel blessed to be her mother.
