Arrival Story:
Little Tasha wondered onto my boyfriend's parents property in the countryside outside of DeKalb, IL a week or so before Thanksgiving. She was trying to eat the birdseed out of their feeder, so being the animal lovers that they are, they left food out for her. After a couple of days Tasha worked up the courage to go up to the house and, of course, they took her in. Since his parents already had two older male cats (who weren't too fond of Tasha), his mom sent out a message on Facebook asking if anyone was interested in taking her. I fell in love with her picture as soon as I saw it and within a couple of days we made the hour and a half trip to go pick her up. Tasha had no collar and was not microchiped, so she came home with us and the rest is history. She is the sweetest little kitty...very social and has never met a lap she didn't like:) UPDATE: We recently found out that Tasha was a barn kitty named Annabelle who ran away to a better life with us:) Her former owners are happy she has found a loving home.
