Arrival Story:
Tasha Belle wandered onto my boyfriend's parents property in the countryside near DeKalb,IL the week of Thanksgiving in 2011. She was trying to eat birdseed and appeared a bit under weight, but was very friendly. They immediately took her in and kept her segregated from their two older male cats, who were none too thrilled with their new visitor. Having no collar or microchip, his parents tried to locate Tasha's owner, but couldn't find them. After a couple of weeks, his mom put Tasha's pic on Facebook asking if anyone wanted to take in this sweet kitty. I fell in love with her picture and within two days, Tasha had a new home in Normal, IL

Bio:
A few months after bringing Tasha home, we found out that she had been a barn kitty named Annabelle who lived at my boyfriends's parents nieghbors farm with her brothers. Apparently, Tasha did not enjoy barn life and had run away a couple of previous times. Tasha's former owners are thrilled she's found a loving, permanent, INDOOR home where she's free to be the princess she was destined to be:)
