So many new things!!!

Dad brought home a ton of boxes today and they were all for us! We got our fancy kitty litter box that looks like regular human furniture. Mom says she will post pictures of it and post them tomorrow. Then mom saw a very special box! It said it was from Jackson Galaxy! How exciting! Mommy opened them up and there were so many toys!! There were long bunny kicker toys, there were short bunny kick toys, and there were litter bunny kick toys with little rattles in them! Then mom found a nice note from her favorite kitties in California! Zack and Zoey! What a fun Easter gift! Of course we loved them! Very pretty pink for the Pink Ladies! Zack and Zoey must have talked to our favorite Cat Daddy! Hmm what else? Oh I am still being a mean little girl to Hazel. I am very jealous and I have pretty bad attachment issues! Mom tries her hardest to get us to get along but to no avail. Hazel is starting to stand up for herself at least. We do get along on mom and Dads bed at night but that is it. Sometimes during the day we will sniff each other or at least tolerate eachother. We don't all out fight ever but I swat and hiss at Hazel when ever I can. Oh well hopefully this will pass. OMC Happy Easter to us!

We got so many pawesome gifts from our sweet friends in California. Zack and Zoey are the best gift givers ever! Thank you so much! I love my peeps! MOL!!! I played and played with my gifts! I am a huge fan of the cat nip so these gifts were perfect for me! We can't wait till our wonderful friends get their gifts! Thank you again Zack and Zoey Hazel and I just love our gifts! Another beautiful day in Germany

Well Hazel and I are loving the spring here in Germany. What is not to love about the Spring! We are loving all the sun on the back balcony that we hang out on all day. Mom feeds us our breakfast around 0630 and she makes she we finish or at least eat a good portion and then she opens the big sliding glass door and were free to go outside all day! We get our sun bathing in all day and of course our bird watching! One of these days I am going to catch one of those and give it to mommy as a present! We spend almost all day out there and were both very pleased! Mom even put a litter box out there for us so we can do our business out there! Mom was thinking about putting our water out there too tomorrow since we spend so much time out there anyway. Mom bought a bunch of hanging pots and herb seeds today to grow some yummy nsacks for us! They might take awhile to grow but I know they will be worth it when they finally grow! Hazel really likes to eat grass so I know she will really like the plants. Mom really wants to make our outside area even better somehow. Any suggestions? Oh yeah. Hazel's and I relationship still isn't what mom would like it to be. We took a nap on the same bed today which is a nice step forward but then I hissed and swated at her the other parts on the day. Hazel stood up for herslef a little today which mom liked. Mom thinks if Hazel really stands up for her self just once it would turn things around. Even if it was just a hiss or a little swat she thinks it will put me in my place. However, Hazel is mommy's sweet little girl and she just doesn't do that. Shes too nice to be mean I suppose. We are so excited to get pur spring gifts from Zack and Zoey! They are such good gift givers we know it will be great! We are even more excited for them to get theirs! Oh we can't wait! Once they get them we will have to share the sellers ETSY site! I've been a meany lately!

Mommy has not been very happy with me lately! I have turned into a mean little girl to my sweet little sister. At one point we got a long great but now I am just not very nice. Every time Hazel passes me I swat and hiss at her. Hazel never retaliates to me but because of my behavior she has become a very standoffish to everyone. Mom is trying her best to make two different domains for us and does what she can to make Hazel feel more comfortable and confident. Mom really doesn't know what happened as she hopes this is all just a phase but for now it is very frustrating. Mom thinks there might be a little jealousy thing going on which become very clear tonight when mom laid on the floor and cuddled with Hazel. I am sure Hazel was super excited about it and she was fast asleep in mom’s arms but I was not a fan! I sat with dad on the couch as he petted me and scratched me but I just stared at them. I stared and growled at them. This went on for a while until I ran away under the dining room table and pouted. Whenever mommy is playing with Hazel I but in a hiss pretty much whenever Hazel is within swatting distance she’s getting it. Any other ideas? Mom has figured out that none of this has to do with Hazel. It really is all me. What can mommy to make me nice again to my sister? On the other hand Hazel loves her new domain and Mom bought some new toys for us that she saw on her new favorite show (My Cat from Hell)! Also Hazel hasn't peed on any of the rugs for a couple days now! Yay! Oh and Mom submitted a story to Catster and they emailed her back and said it might be published on the site! How exciting! She will update you all once she knows more! Ok it is late here in Germany! Any advice would be great! Luv Farrah J.

I made it through!!

Mom dropped me off at the kitty doctor at 0730 and I was out of there at 1230. Mom was super excited because it was two hours before she thought she would be able to see me. I was very quiet on the car ride home but i did slip out of my cone. Oh when mom picked me up she was all wrapped up in my snooze sack!! I was very comfortable and so happy my good friends Zack and Zoey got that gift for me! I was given pain medicine so I am still feeling good. I am pretty acting my normal self but a little timid and quiet. Mom keeps making sure im not jumping or licking my wound. She has to give me my anti biotic tonight and then tomorrow I get more pain medicine and some anti biotics. Mom wil be home all week to take care of me. I've been very good about not licking so while mom can keep an eye one me I am not wearing the cone. Once they go to bed the cone wil be coming on. I dont like it at all! Mom would like me to thank you all for all of your support!! Mom felt so happy to know she had good friends out there! She was very worried and nervous and you all put her at ease! I really did very well and I am recovery very well. Mom will keep a very close eye on me but we are past the hardest part. Now time for a nap! Luv Farrah J.

Mom can't sleep!

Well Mom got a couple hours of sleep but then she woke up with me cuddling next to her and she was up! She is still super nervous! What cat mom wouldn't be even a little nervous about her little baby going into surgery! She has been holding me and saying how much she loves me. She even cried a little. I wish I could tell her there is nothing to worry about! Mom has to drop me off at 0730 and then Daddy is going to pick me up at 1430. Mom will be worried about me all day until I am with her again. Well she is going to go make breakfats for Dad and get all of my stuff ready for my big day! She is going to give the vet my snooze sack since I love it so much and it mght give me some comfort to have something familiar besides my crate. Mom said she wouldn't start her new job until next week so she could spend all of my recovery with me. She has never had a cat get surgery before so she wants to be by my side until she feels comfortabe enough to leave me. Ok everyone wish me luck! Mom will keep you all updated!

Me no likey the vet!

Oh what a morning I have had. First of all mommy had us up way too early!! Mom had been telling me for a while that I will have to go to the kitty doctor soon but I was hoping she might forget! And I went back into heat so I did not think I would have to go anymore! Well mom called the vet and they said I still had to come in. I had to get my blood work done today and they had to check me out to make sure I would do ok with the spay surgery on the 20th. My day started early this morning when mom got up. I thought she was up a little too early and then she started getting ready for her day. I was still finding this strange since the sun was barley up and we usually wake up about an hour or two after the sun comes up to say hello to us. I would also like to add that a few days prior mom had put my cat carrier out in the living room so I could get comfortable with it again. Well mom was ready and then she picked me up and gave me a good hug and a kiss and put me in my carrier. Oh how I hate that thing! I like to play in it but I don't like being trapped in it! Then mom carried me outside and buckled me into the car. I was so scared the whole ride up! I meowed and meowed to let mommy know how unhappy and scared I was. She reassured me the whole way that everything was going to me ok but I didn't believe her so I kept on meowing until we got to the vet. Well I somehow survived the car ride and then we went in and I got weighed. I am a nice 7.3 lbs.! Very healthy girl! I thought maybe this is it? Maybe mommy was just wondering how much I weigh! Nope, she put me back in the carrier and then we waited. Then it happened! I was snatched from mommy and taken into a strange room. Mommy was very sad she wasn't allowed back with me and she could hear me crying for her which made her want to cry too. WELL!!! These kitty doctors made me very upset! They had to find a vein and they tried my little back legs. They are so small and skinny I don't know why they even tried there. They tried several times in each leg and each time I cried out for my mommy. Then they gave up on my legs and moved to my neck and finally got the blood they needed. Where ever they tried to get blood the doused in rubbing alcohol so when I was done I was covered in the stuff that really upset me! Once I was brought back to mommy I wasn't meowing anymore! I was screaming at her! It was the worst sort of noise. Mommy wanted to cry because she knows that meow means I am really scared and maybe in pain. I was so upset! I eventually calmed down and we drove home! As soon as mommy put me down and opened my carrier I ran right to my food. I was so hungry too! Mommy put out our wet food early for me. I ate mine and then I went and ate half of Hazels. I am never a mega eater. I barley ever finish my own food let alone Hazels too. Now I am ok and I am about to take a little nap. I had such a rough day so far I think a little snooze is a good idea. Oh and on top of all of this I am still in heat so I am upset about that too! Agh poor me! Mommy says this is my last heat and I will never have to be uncomfortable like this ever again! She also says she is very upset with my past owners for not doing this long ago but better late than never she says! Oh and another thing before I sign off. Hazel does not like my rubbing alcohol smell. She keeps hissing at me like I am some new cat! Silly girl! Maybe she needs a good cat nap too! Mommy says she misses all of you! Luv Farrah J.

One Nervous Mommy!

Well I was cuddling up with mom this morning when she made the call to the vet. I will be having my spay surgery on the 20th of March. Mom knows that having this surgery is for the best and there are so many benefits to getting me spayed but she is a nervous wreck. After she made the appointment with me she cuddled with me for a long time and gave me tons of hugs and kisses. We go in on the 14th to get our work ups. Mom says getting the surgery can add years to my life but she is so scared the surgery will take my life. Of course dad is the calm one and is telling her everything will be alright! Any advice for my very nervous mommy?

Cat Nip Mats!

Oh how I love me some catnip!!! Zack and Zoey are the best! They sent us the cutes cat nip mats! They are pink and have cupcakes all over them! How did our friends know how much we like sweets! Mol! We took to the mats right away and Mom had such a wonderful time watching us play. We even fell asleep on them because we were so tuckered out! Ruff Around the Edges makes such cute products! The catnip is so potent and they even included extra catnip for refilling! Thank you so much Zack, Zoey, and their Pawrents!!! Oh and mom told me to say Obama Rules!

Oh what a silly girl I am

Mom has always said I want to be a dog and tonight I am proving her right again. She posted a video of me on my page where I am playing fetch. I am so silly! When I see a bird I let out a little kitty bark and when Hazel is in danger or doing something naughty I get moms attention to go help her. Mom says I am an amazing cat and I would have to agree! MOL!!! Mom wishes she could post more diary entries and pictures! Oh yeah Hazel, mom and I would like to give a big head bump to Kovo for being cat of the day!! What an honor Kovo!
