I was doing quite well until this afternoon when mom looked at me and blood was pooling in the bottom of my left eye. We called the vet right away, and they couldn't see me for two hours, and said it should be okay to wait unless it looked worse.

I was diagnosed with high blood pressure today and am in stage 3 renal disease. I have a tumor in my iris that is possibly melanoma. My blood and urine also show that I have an infection. I also had a nose bleed last night, which could mean a tumor in my nasal passage. Aside from all that, I did well today. We took lots of breaks for petting and I even got a snack. The vet says no running, jumping, or rough housing, as it may cause my eye to bleed more. Me and mom are very tired and glad we're still together. Give your kitties a hug today! Oh Dexter!!! None of this is good news sweetie. Ugh, I'm so sorry all of this is happening. Your poor little body. Please give your mommy a hug for me as I'm sure she needs it. I'm going to come and hold your paw for awhile and give you some angel kisses. Oh no Dexxy, none of this is good news. Please take care of yourself and get lots of rest and sleep.
