So we keep getting emails saying that Zacks giftware shipping!!! I am so excited!!! Even Farrah is excited because she helped picked out the gifts and sheet special gifts for Zoey so she doesn't feel left out! We love finding new handmade gifts from ETSY.com. Mom made us a couple more toys! We didn't show much intrest so she might try to find a shelter around here and donate the toys and blankets she has tried to make. Anywho enough about her! We have been playing a lot more but Farrah and I have been very posseive of our things lately. We are even being possessive of our humans!!! If mom is petting one of us we have to be there and bump the other out of the way. When mom puts down our food we want the others food and we growl over it. It's a new thing for mom so she needs advice. What can she do to makes to so possessive. She has seperate litter boxes, feeding stations, and sleeping areas. However, we want the others stuff. On a good note I am purring non stop lately! I cuddle with mom again and spend our special time together again. I was standoffish when Farrah got here but I am really coming around and realizing mom doesn't love me any less! She can love both of us equals and she even loves me more because she gets to interact with another cat and it makes her really happy. Has Zacky gotten any gifts yet? Oh we are sooooo excited!!!i love you my valentine! Luv Hazel B.

I am so happy your purrrrr is back. Maybe you are purring nonstop because you are thinking of your Valentine! MOL!

No gifts yet in the mail. I can't wait!! Mommy checks the mailbox after her afternoon walk.

I think you and your sister are still adjusting to each other. All sounds pretty normal. It is hard to share! Or you might just always have a little bit of that sibling rivalry going on. Zoey is better at sharing than I am. I always want to take her nap places. But I am getting better.

I love you too Valentine!

Love,
Zack

Congrats on being Diary of the Day! Hope you have a pawsome day!

My sister Miss Mittens and I had some sibling rivalry going on too! When mom bought us new toys, she'd buy toys that were either identical but in different colors or toys that were very similar. Then she'd give each of us a toy and say *this is for you Mittens* and *this one's for you Kaci.* That tactic worked with us! I always knew which toys were *mine* and Mittens knew which toys were *hers.*

We didn't growl at each other when we ate, but we'd check out what food the other one had in her dish. It had to be the same! As we'd eat, we constantly stopped eating to look at what the other one was doing or sit and stare at each other or walk over and check what was left in the other one's dish. Mom had to put our food dishes a little distance apart!

Even with 2 female cats, there's always one who's a little more dominant. That's the cat who insists on being petted first, fed first and get's priority with most things, including time with mom, and will interrupt the other cat. In my house, Miss Mittens was always the more dominant one. Mom never found a way to change that kind of thing with any of her cats. She's learned to go with the flow and let the cats decide. Maybe you and Farrah are at the stage where you're working things out between you?

I think a little bit of possessiveness is normal, especially since y'all are still adjusting.
