What a week!

Well let me just start off by telling you I am not very happy with my mommy! She got a new job and is really loving it but you know what jobs mean right? No mommy at home! She only works part time thank the kitty gods but I sure do like having her home all day so when I need anything she is there to take care of me! She is very good about getting up early to clean our boxes and put out our breakfast and when she gets home she gives us tons of love and then later dinner but this has been a new change for me and Farrah. Mommy feels terrible but we know when she goes to work she gets more money for our treats! Mol! Well Farrah and I are starting to get a long better now. We were always fighting this past month or so and mommy was getting a bit concerned. Farrah was such a bully to me. She was dominating all of the water dishes and all three of the litter boxes! Unfortunetly I had to ruin a few rugs because I had no where else to go! Mommy and Daddy did not get angry with me. They made sure I had a litter box that could be monitored by them so I would not be bullied away and I have not had any issues since! The same with our water dishes! I have stood up for my self a few times which has helped with Farrah's aggression towards me. We still have our momments but we are starting to play together again and at night we are willing to sleep in the same bed together with Mommy and Daddy. Farrah sometimes growls at me in the middle of the night but when mommy pets her and tells her to be nice she calms down. Farrah is such an attention bug! I am just happy she is being nicer to me now. I was very stressed out! Hmmm what else is going on...Oh I don;t know if you have read Zack, Zoey, or Rock Ann's diaries but mom has set our geocaches and travel bugs where we live in honor of our best friends from California. Oh what a special day for me!

How exciting! Mom just loves getting those emails from Catster that says the whole site gets to see our diaries! She wants to show us off to everyone so when we get chosen she hopes other people that we aren't friends see our diaries. Today was a good and bad day for Farrah and I. It was good because I stood up for my self. Farrah was pinning me down and forcefully grooming me like she does! Well I flipped that girl around and let her know I was not a happy camper! It was enough to make her stop with out hurting her ofcourse because I am not a fighter. I am a lover. Mom says I am the pacifist! Farrah hisses and swats at me whenever she can but I almost never retaliate. I just wanted to let her know she cant always push me around. However, a few hours later Farrah was growling and hissing at me again. That is the bad. Mom thought I had solved the issues we were having but it looks like we are back to square one. She knows our issues will wont get solved over night but it still makes her sad we dont cuddle and do cute stuff together again. Maybe once all of Farrahs hormones are out of her system she will be a little nicer to me. Mostly mom hates seeing that sad look in my face when Farrah is being mean. She says I look defeated.Mom and Dad try their best to let me know that I am still super special and loved. Hmm time will tell! How was eveyones weekends? Luv Hazel B.

Oh happy mornings!

Happy morning to everyone! I know it is a happy morning for us. Farrah, mommy, daddy, and I all slept in bed together all through the night. Farrah slept on moms back like she always does now and I slept between Dad's legs. He moves a lot during the night but I stayed anyway and just adjusted myself with him. Mommy was so happy to see me when she woke up this morning! It is a bit funny that mom spent all the time to make a domaine downstairs just for me and now I feel comortable enough to come upstairs. Oh well I know she just wants me happy. Well time to get me fresh air and sunshine! Luv Hazel B.

My new domain

Well Mommy has spent all morning trying to make me feel for comfortable in my own home. Farrah has been a bit rude to me lately and I chose not to go upstairs anymore because that is her area now. It used to be mine! The whole house used to be mine but now she is here and we are choosing our areas. I have chosen the main floor. Farrah gets the top floor. Mom is sad that I don't like to cuddle with her at night anymore but she is being nice and making sure that I am happy with my chosen territory! She brought my cat tree back down stairs; created two nice play/napping spots and eating area just for me. She also bought a new litter box online. It looks like a nice piece of furniture but when you open it up there is a kitty litter box. Daddy wants me to be happy and not go pee pee on their rugs but he also does not like seeing the kitty litter boxes out in the open so this new box is their compromise. Mom really hope my new set up makes me happy and feel more comfortable. For now I am really enjoying my outside balcony time. I love just lying in the sun and feeling so warm. I stay outside until mommy makes me come back inside and then I fall asleep quickly on the back of the couch. Oh mommy watched a few episodes of My Cat from Hell. Of course me and Farrah are good little kitties and we are pretty much well behaved kitties but the show gave mommy a few ideas about how to deal with some of our little issues. She really likes his approach with the kitties. She really likes that he believes that there is no bad kitties. She likes that the blame goes on the pawrent. She knows it might seem mean but even she knows that some of the issues with us are her fault too. She is still learning so she still does things wrong. Well Mommy and me are going to go get some more sun on our sunny Sunday! Luv Hazel B. Mommy is the only person in the world that cares about me- peeing

Well mom put one of our litter boxes outside today and I finally went in it today! Mommy was so excited and happy for me. She hadn't seen me go down stairs in a while to use the litter box in a while and she was getting concerned but she just had to put it where I like it! My favorite spot in the whole wide world! The balcony! I went poo and pee! Mom wonders if I have been holding it because I was a changed woman after I went! Mom watched me sniff around where the rug was that I had apparently been doing my business on and then I let out a very upset meow! I really had to go and my rug was gone! Mom and Dad decided to trash it today. Well I held it for a little bit longer and then I saw it! The litter box outside! I used it proudly and felt much better! Mom thinks she will keep one out there permanently so I can do my thing where I like. She is also going to change the litter back to what we are used to. Of course Farrah doesn't care. She would go in anything it seems. Oh and mommy noticed that Farrah is having a really hard time getting a hair ball up. She has been trying for a really long time but no luck. Any suggestions as to how mommy can help her? Oh yeah mommy forgot to mention she checked my pee clump and found no traces of blood or discoloration which is a good sign of no UTI but we will still make an appointment just to make sure! Oh no I'm pee peeing on the carpet

Hmm...Well I have been going pee on the rug. Mom caught me yesterday but she soon realized when trying to clean up my pee spot that I had used that rug frequently! Mom is watching my pee pee to make sure there isn't any blood in my urine. Mom knows that peeing or pooing in a place other than my litter box is a sign of UTI or another sickness so we will be making another vets appointment. She will be also watching my behavior this weekend. I have also been a lot more vocal an affectionate. Hmmm. If it isn't a UTI mom wants to see what else it might be by asking you guys if these reasons could also be it. Ok Mom asked Dad to get us some more cat litter from the store. Well Mom always gets unscented. This new litter is very scented and Mom will be replacing our litter tomorrow. Mom is wondering if this could also be a reason I am not using my box. Could I be dissing my box because the smell is too much? Mom thinks it may be an issue. Ok next issue, my sister has been getting a lot of attention! I know she got her surgery and mommy has to give her lots of extra attention but could I be acting out by pee peeing on the rug to get my own attention? Ok and another possible issue, Mom read that some kitties that get spayed can still go through a heat cycle if the surgery isn't completed somehow. Could I be going through a mild heat cycle with the season change? I am very vocal and always wanting mommy and Daddies attention. When mom wakes up at 6am and I am running up to her and meowing up a storm! Mom feeds me and changes my water and plays with me and I just keep on meowing. I am just acting a bit weird and mommy is a concerned. She is an overly nervous pawrent! Oh and another thing I am not going upstairs anymore with mom and dad which makes mom a bit side. If I didn't sleep in bed with mom and Dad I would at least sleep in one of my beds in their room or the guest room next store. Now I just sleep on the couch down stairs all night. I go upstairs in the afternoon to catch my sun nap but other than that I just don't go upstairs anymore. What is wrong with me!!!! Mommy is worried she is doing something wrong or not being a good pawrent somehow. Ok well we hope you all have a great weekend!

Farrah is doing great!

I am just so proud of my sister! She is recovering great! You wouldn't even know she had her spay surgery yesterday! She is not a fan of getting her pain medicine or anti biotic but mommy knows it is best for her so she tries to be as patient as possible when giving her the medicine. Farrah is really back to her old self and moomy is very happy with out everything turned out. She is eating and using the litter box normally and is active. Mommy hasn't been playing with her as much as usual so Farrah's movement's aren't to rough but Mom is having trouble stoping her from jumping. Farrah sure does love window ledges and the beds. And pretty much anywhere but the ground. Silly girl! Mom is trying her best! I have been a very good girl too. I haven't been chasing her or batting at her like I usually do. I even let her take her naps today on my spot on the couch! Hmm oh yeah Farrah hasn't had to have her cone put on yet because she is still very good about not licking. Let's hope she keeps that up. Oh and she did the cutest thing today. Mommy was bringing down the laudry to the laundry room and she must have dropped a sock because little Farrah showed up in the laundry room carrying the dropped sock to mommy. She is such a good girl! Oh and I let mommy groom me for a long time today! I am a big shedder so I need to be brushed everyday but I don't always let mom do that but I was very good today! Hopefully for mom and me I keep that up! Well we jst wanted to give a update on my sissy! Have a wonderful first day of spring. Oh and thanks to Zack and Zoey for the cute rossets! We loved them!

My trip to the vet!!!

Oh I was such a good girl at the vet! Mommy was so proud of me!!! I cried a little bit on the ride over to the vet but once I got there I was so good! We had to wait 40 minutes after our appointment was supposed to be and I was patient the whole time. The vet was a little backed up with some bad behaved doggies so we had to wait. Mom had to weigh me and I am almost 12 pounds!!! I'm a big girl! Then when we were finally back in the exam room I was so good. I was a little hesitant to come out of my cat crate but once I did I was great! Mommy held me and I got my two shots with no issues! I got one in my hip and one in my in my shoulder! I didn't even let out a meow! I just nuzzled into my mommies arms and it I felt safe or at least I was trying to show mommy how brave I could be! My mommy was so proud! The vet said I was the best patient all day! She said my teeth, ears, and fur looked wonderful! She even said my heart sounded perfect! Of course it does!! It's because I love my family so much and they love me!!! Thank you so much for all the puurss and love! I think that is why I was so brave and calm! Well just wanted to tell everyone how my appointment went. Next is Farrah's big day. We will be up super early! Wish us luck!! Luv Hazel B.

Tomorrow is my big day!!!

Thankfully we don't have to get up early like Farrah but tomorrow I have to go to the place Farrah went to last week. Farrah was not a happy camper when she got home and neither was mom! Mom never got the chance to talk to the vet and ask her the questions mom had. She was sort of rushed out since there were so many other kitties with appointments right after here but mom was still a little upset. And Farrah was super upset!!! I know my appointment will go a lot better! I just have some shots so it should be ok and quick. Mom still gets scared like I do when she has to take us to the kitty doctor. On Tuesday mom takes Farrah in for her surgery. Mom is so scared! Every cat she has had before has always been spayed before she adopter so she never had to go through this! She just wishes Farrah past owners had done her the favor and did it when she was a little kitty since her age makes surgeries like this a little more risky. However, mom and dad are super excited that Farrah will never have to go through a heat cycle again. She will have such a comfortable life from here in out. She will calm down a bit and will have a healthier life. Well mom needs some sleep and says she will try very hard to check in more often!!! Oh and how could we forget!!! We got a super cool toy from Zack and Zoey and their pawrents! It's this cool little maze with a ball in side and we just love it or shall I say I love it!!! It has become my new favorite toy! I play with it all the time downstairs! Mom even got some really good pictures of me playing and a video today! She will post after when get back from the vet tomorrow! Well have a great week!!! Oh how we've missed you all

We have been so busy lately! We apologize for not getting on here as much. Moms school really takes her time away from Catster and it makes us all sad. Oh guess what we got in the mail today!!! We got a super cute postagram from our best friends in California!!! Zack and Zoey picked their cutest picture, wrote a very thoughtful note, and sent us some love!!! Mom will be taking a picture of us with us with the postagram tomorrow! It is on the fridge right now next to all of the Valentines we got with our very special gifts! Not too much going on with us. Oh mom has two job interviews tomorrow. We don't like the idea of mom being away all day but mom might bring home more treats for us!! How is everyone else doing? We miss you all very much!
