indoors Arrival Story: My husband and I are currently stationed in Stuttgart Germany. Wen we both settled in we really wanted a cat in our lives and went to the military classifieds to find our love. We found her about a week after we started looking and made our way to pay her a visit. It was love at first sight! She was living with another military family that had just had a new baby and unfortunately they had to get rid of her. We gladly took Hazel to our home it's been wonderful ever since! She had a tough year and a half before we met her though so she was very timid and shy. When she was a kitten she was found in a box in a park in Texas with her brothers and sisters that was quickly filling with rain. She was rescued and adopted out. Latet she transferred to Germany with her last family to Germany. During the plane ride over to Germany her cage was surrounded by cages that contained dogs because they thought it would be funny. So with all of her traumatic events and changes you would think she would be mean or continue to be shy. However, she has become so loving and wonderful. She is just what we needed!! She is now in a caring and loving home with us with cat parents that are willing to give her te world!!! I had another day of adventures in Germany! We have a very handsome grey cat visit us most days and today was one of those days. We are always very hesitant of him but we give in and have even welcomed him into our homes. Mom has a few pictures of him she will share soon. He even climbed up on to our balcony and walked right into our Mom and Dad's room the other night! Brave kitty! We like him but even that was a bit too much of him in our domain. Mom has named him Grayson. As you can tell she isn't super creative lol! He looks very well taken care of so we don't believe he is a stray. He's a bit chubby and his fur is beautiful! I sure hope Zack doesn't get jealous of my new friend! Grayson is handsome but of course my heart still belongs to Zack! Oh we made new friends today here on Catster! Check out their pages! Well it's a new year and I am excited to see what it will bring me! My mom and dad had tons of family here in Germany for the holidays and boy was I not happy! Too many people!!! I hid most of the time but mom and dad made sure to have some special time with me and tried to keep my same routine! Well they are all gone and I am happy again! I hate sharing my people! I got everything I wanted! Mom got me tons of treats and toys! We even had our own stocking and ornament! I felt very special!!! I wasn't as interested in the Christmas tree as I was last year. Old hat I suppose! Well I need to go to sleep! The beauty needs her sleep! MOL! Have a great night!
