Arrival Story:
I have a cat that I rescued, and she loves my dad. I wanted a kitten, and had been thinking of getting another cat. So for my birthday at work, everyone pitched in and they collected enough to give me a gift certificate good for one kitty from the animal shelter. I liked her right away--something about the expression on her face and the way she was sitting so....straight and cute.

Bio:
I was told that she had been adopted from the shelter a few days earlier and then returned by the person who adopted her. I found out later that she had originally been taken there by someone who found her wandering outside in the cold. So while part of me is sad the person brought her back, a bigger part of me is very happy it happened.
