 Coloration: Champagne

Likes: Sleeping and lying next to me with his right paw and head on my arm

Pet-Peeves: If anyone distrubs him

Favorite Toy: Fabric string & he likes it dangled for him to play with

Favorite Nap Spot: He usually confiscates the Miniature Pinscher's crate

Favorite Food: Anything but he especially loves EVO Cat Food

Skills: Dc always like to play fetch and in the night he would take a toy ball and throw it down the stairs so he could chase it while I was sleeping. Of course when he did it, I was no longer sleeping.

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story: Dc was named "Daddy's Cat". I inherited him after my father passed away in 1999. My parents got him when they were at the vets and an elderly couple brought him it to be euthanized. They were moving and couldn't find a home for him. He went directly to my mother and they gave him to her. He actually became my father's cat though.

Bio: My parents were told he was a female because my mother didn't want a male cat because she thought they all sprayed in the house. They named him Crystal. Knowing how my mother felt I never told her that Crystal was a male cat. After I inherited him I changed his name, I just couldn't stand calling a male cat Crystal! I took care of my mother for 5 1/2 years before she passed away and Dc always slept with her. He is so heavy she couldn't hold him because he hurt her with his heavy weight. That is why we adopted Q. Now he sleeps on my right side, right beside me every night. Dc has a slow metabolism and the vet said there isn't anything we can actually do to get his weight down. He actually eats less than the others. He is very smart but spends most of his day and night sleeping. Dc developed diabetes and is on insulin.
Sadly, my beloved Dc has gone to Rainbow Bridge. He developed tumors in his mouth and he would never survive an operation. It was a difficult decision but it would be far worse with all of his health problems to let him suffer. Oh, Dc, my little darling, I shall miss you until we meet again. God Bless you, my little one, and God Speed on your journey where there is no pain and suffering.

Forums Motto: I get to sleep on Mommy's arm!
