This is pretty hard to see cuz Mom was a million miles away and the photo had to go thru THREE dog fences, but, I think you can probably see Yours Truly and Paisley peering out the kitchen door, trying to decide if we should head out!!

Arrival Story:
About 10 days after Paisley was brought into our rescue the people who found her showed up with Dijon. He immediately went into foster care with one of our employees, but he and Paisley play together every chance they get so I finally decided to adopt him, too.

Bio:
I have three favorite cat colors... black first, then orange tabby, then anything with "points". I also am particularly fond of long hair. Smokey was the first cat I brought into my dog family and he turned out great! Paisley came along, and is just as good with the dogs and since Dijon was fostered with dogs, we brought him along, too.

Dijon's Discoveries

Following Smokey's footsteps...

Today both Paisley and I were watching Smokey marching around in the big outdoors. It really looked like fun, but so far, the only time I've tried it there was cold, white stuff all over the ground!!!
However, this afternoon Mom took the dogs down in that lower field to play. I noticed the kitchen door wasn't quite shut tight so I kept sticking my leg out and trying to make it more open.
I didn't know Mom was so observant... she was WAY, WAY down in the corner of the field but apparently, she saw my leg moving so she peered thru the LONG lens on her camera and discovered both me and Paisley with our noses out the crack in the door. Naturally, she took a photo so we couldn't deny it!!!
Frankly, I think a good plan of attack might be for all three of us to head out a different door. No way, no how could Mom EVER follow all three of us, she wouldn't know which way to go first, hehehe! We could have a prearranged meet-up place, maybe Joey would invite us into his shed.
But, I do have one question for Smokey... if it is so wonderful and nice outside, why in the world does he always let Momsie catch him???? I think he must be askerdided out there, don't cha think???

Wow, this morning Mom told me I was the CAT of the DAY!!! I guess being famous the other day for my Diary made everyfur at HQ realize that I am such a wonderful kitty that I deserved even MORE honor???
It's okay, my head isn't swelling too much, well, Paisley may not agree with that, MOL!!
Right now we are waiting for Julia to come and take pictures of us for both St. Patrick's day AND for Easter.
Soo, I guess we will probably be back today with MORE photos!!
Thanks for all your gifts, visits and well-wishes. I do appreciate them all!!

Hey, every kitty... today I was picked as the Catster Diary of the Day!! I am soo happy and excited and yes, I am soo superior to my sis, Paisley, hehehe!
First of all, I want to thank the judges and the sponsors and all that stuff.
Next, I would like to thank all the kitties that faithfully (I hope?) read my diary entries...without readers there could be no diary and without a diary, there could be no Diary of the day!
Finally, I would like to thank all of you nice kitties for sending me gifts and well wishes and especially, for visiting MY page so I can quickly get ahead of Paisley in visitor numbers!!!
Thank you all!
