Nicknames: My real name's Gertrude, but everyone calls me "Gert" or "Gertie." My mom calls me embarrassing names like "Gerters Werters," "Lovebug," and "Fluffball" (which is as annoying as it sounds).
Gotcha Date: October 30th 2011
Birthday: August 5th 2011
Coloration: Blue Bicolor
Likes: Love my toy ferret & crinkle toys; sitting on the toilet to watch my mom get ready for teaching; laying in the sink; jumping in the tub; meowing at the fridge until it's opened, & my mom lets me climb in for a few secs. (b/c I'm not happy until I'm in)!
Pet-Peeves: I don't love that my dad keeps his office door shut so that I can't get in to explore; or when my mom won't open the refrigerator or kitchen and bathroom cabinets for me to climb in; and I meow when my mom brushes her teeth & I can't lay in the sink!
Favorite Toy: Even when all of my toys are in my toy box, I always pick out my ferret & my crinkle toys. I also go crazy for my leopard print kitty wand. When my mom's home & can closely watch me, she sometimes lets me play with her hair ties. I love those!
Favorite Nap Spot: I always sleep on my mom's pillow, right next to her head. I nap on blankets on the couch (which I always knead). And, I love the lid to my Booda box so much that I begged my mom to take it off & let me sleep in it (she put a cozy blanket under it).
Favorite Food: My mom wants me to be very healthy, so I'm only allowed to have my kitten food. Even though I've never had human food, I still want my mom to share her food so I beg and beg; however, my meowing never prevails.
Skills: Well, I'm still pretty young, but I'm learning. I've started to fetch my toys. When I'm playing with my ferret, I do somersaults onto him. Also, because I'm a Ragdoll, I get very relaxed and I stretch out when someone picks me up. I'm like a baby!
Arrival Story: My mom found me on the Internet. I was one of two kittens left in my litter. My mom said that she absolutely had to have me when she saw my big, blue eyes. The people who had me before were going to keep me for breeding, but my mom convinced the people to sell me to her. And, boy, I'm glad about that; I know that a life stuck in a closet taking care of whinny babies is just not for me!

About My Pictures:
#1: This the picture that convinced my mom that I had to be her cat.
#2- Me hanging out on the couch.
#3- Me sleeping in my nice bed with the mouse that my aunt gave me.
#4- Me in one of my favorite places: the bathroom sink!
#5- Me on the toilet, watching my mom get ready to leave me to teach 4th grade.
#6- Me on the bed of blankets that my mom leaves for me.
#7- Me in yet another one of my favorite places: the refrigerator! My mom knows it's not safe for me to be in there, but I whine and I whine until she opens the door and lets me in there for just a few seconds. After I get my few second fix, I don't meow at the refrigerator door for a few hours (until I'm ready for more fun time).
#8- Me in my cozy hybrid bed. For some reason, I love the top of my litter box so much that I don't want it for my toilet cover. I like it on the floor with a Denver Broncos snuggie under it.
#9- Me kneading a blanket for my couch-bed.
#10- I sleep on top of my mom's head on her pillow every night, all night long.
