Arrival Story:
I had just lost my beloved cat and went to the pound to look for a kitty to help fill that void. At the time, I didn't have any of my dogs or Moco. Sylvester is what I call my 'first born child'. At the shelter, I looked into this cage where there were these kittens and only saw two. I was going to take one of the girls home when I realized that there were more eyes in the back. I couldn't see him because he was so black! I pulled him out and it was love at first sight. Sylvester is definitely MY child. He loves me, and pretty much ONLY me. Everyone else is an annoyance to him. UPDATE: Sylvester passed away on October 19th 2010. Today is January 18, 2011 and I am just now posting this to his profile. I hadn't been able to get myself to do it. It seemed like if I did it, it meant that he was REALLY gone and I suppose in my mind I haven't wanted to face that. Sylvester was my buddy. He was my first baby that I adopted on my own and I had him almost 17 years. I still can't talk about him much without crying or getting emotional. He will always and forever be in my heart. I knew I was going to miss him, but I was not prepared for how bad it would hurt.

Bio:
Sylvester is my baby. I love him so much it's crazy. For a long time, it was just the two of us and he was the only other heartbeat in the house. I now have a total of 2 cats and 3 dogs but Sylvester is still my 'first born' and I cherish him.
