Arrival Story:
My little sister's friend's kitty wasn't spayed and got out. She returned pregnant and they were going to take the kitties to her grandpa's farm to be barn cats. Chloe was the runt and I was sad for her, so she came home with me. I also persuaded them to find warm homes for the other kitties.
Bio:
Chloe is definitely a tortie. She has attitude to spare, but is very affectionate to her human friends. When I first brought James home to meet her she was not too excited. I had to keep him far, far away from her, then one day she cried at the door to the room he was in and I opened the door and she seemed to be ok with James being here. About a week after that Chloe and James got in a big fight at about 4 in the morning and it was back to square one. She would walk by the room we had to keep him in and growl at the door!! I told her to grow up and realize I still loved her too, and after that reassurance she and James have been best friends. When I took James to get neutered she looked everywhere for him!
Chloe is a very good climber and often gets stuck in odd places, like the top of the bedroom door! She also like to take "kitty showers" in the tub. (dipping her head under a small stream of water from the faucet) The funniest thing she had done was when someone picked her up, and she didn't want to be picked up, she slapped him in the face with her paw and hit him so hard that his glasses flew off!!

This morning James ate a huge bug. That is something only little kitties do, and I am much too grown up and sophisticated for that. James is a good little brother though...last night he cleaned my face for me. Then we snuggled in bed with mom and dad.
ooops, gotta run, James wants to play chase!
