Arrival Story:
Thanksgiving weekend I was walking the dog in the park when I saw some adorable kittens in the drainpipe. I started to feed them and got to know their mother, who is feral. After a few weeks I lured the kittens into cat carriers as I had found a rescue group to sponser their adoptions. I caught the mother in February and got her a spay, but unfortunately she was much to wild to be a housecat, so she went back to live in her drain.

Bio:
MommaCat wishes she could have more kittens but its just not a good idea. She was proud of her four babies though and loved them very much.

A Feral's Life


Today I Got Extra Food, Early

Today the girl gave me extra food pretty early in the day. You see, the neighborhood had the nerve to have a party in MY park. There was a giant tank with a sound system blaring music, interrupting my catnap. When the girl saw all this she brought me extra food immediately because the noise scared away the birds I catch to eat. Too bad the neighborhood never thinks of me when they plan these things....

I disappeared for 2 weeks but I'm back. I need to leave every so often to keep the girl on her toes. I would tell you where I went but I think she reads here.

You may have noticed my age changed from 2 to 5......I've always known I was older but I never wanted to correct the girl. I think in all our hearts we are young cats. So anyways, the girl found out I am really older because a neighbor called to talk about the feral cat round up and suggested "You might want to get that cat that lives in the park's drainpipes. She's been having kittens for years." So Catster readers, these are my confessions, I am actually older and I've had way more than 4 babies in my lifetime. Sorry to have mislead you.
