Arrival Story:
My daughter Monica adopted a stray Cat that had climbed up into to air vents in her house and got in. It happened on a Sunday so that became her name. She got out of the house one day when she had come into heat, so naturally when she came back, she was in the family way. She had three adorable babies, born on thanksgiving day ( Nov.25, 2010 ). Monica named them Packer, Pumpkin, and Pecan. Packer, for her favorite football team and the others for her favorite Thanksgiving Pies. Pecan was adopted by my oldest Daughter and renamed Princess Buttercup after her favorite movie, The Princess Bride. I adopted Packer, who we thought was a boy. Pumpkin was adopted by another family. I kept thinking something was wrong with Packer because I didn't see boy parts and the vet that had given them shots had said Packer was a boy. Well, when I took Packer to get neutered, I got a call from the Vet saying "She" was doing fine from her spaying surgery! LOL I was somewhat puzzled, but relieved and happy. She is beautiful, loving, very playful, and a real joy to have.
