She and her brothers like to talk (sing back to me) she is the only one of them with a true Siamese 'accent', she likes to strut around and talk back to us with that lovely cracked siamese voice.

Anything her brothers find to play with, she has to check out. Toy wand. Toys with bells.

Either off in another room alone or snuggling with her brothers - depends on the season/weather.

Arrival Story:
Strigoi was among a litter of 6 or 7 dumped at a pet store just before Thanksgiving weekend of '09. My family and I tsked because they weren't 6 weeks as the owner was said to have claimed, but clearly more like 3 weeks old. The store was closed over the weekend, the kittens were left with food... obviously at that young age they didn't eat or drink yet. By the third day we went in to get some supplies, peeked at the kittens to see only three left. Turned out they had coccidia - they were covered in diarrhea, completely emaciated, very weak and dehydrated!!! None of them would move. Dhampir was in the litter pan with his bum caked looking at me pleadingly, Strigoi.. I'll never forget the microscopic squeak of a meow she gave me. That was it I volunteered to take them home to heal and care for them. The former owners must have bathed them before dumping them to hide it. It's amazing what three days can do to a three-week-old kitten. The pet store called the former owners are railed them for lying about both their age and the coccidia. He also called all the owners who adopted them and told them about the coccidia.
I volunteered to take the three remaining kittens home to treat and keep them clean. I had to completely bathe the poor luvs, and had to wash their rears four/five times a day until the meds kicked in. They were bottle fed until weaning age and then started on mild raw food as it is most nutritious, they loved it too. I honestly didn't think the boys were going to live, as they didn't want to play for two-three weeks.
Strigoi bounced back in three days. They all took time to put weight on, easily came off but it was an effort to put it back on. After two courses of treatment and tender loving care we managed to save all three of their lives. The pet store had called to tell me he had sold one of the boys, the healthier one. *panic* I immediately went down and paid for them. I couldn't possibly part with them after the struggle we put up to save them.
I never planned to have more cats... isn't that usually the way, that they find us? hehe Now they are all spayed/neutered/microchipped and have grown up with GSD's... so naturally they think they are German Shepherd Dogs. They would bark if they could.

Strigoi is a breed of real folklore vampire, it's Romanian.
I happen to be a big fan of Richelle Meads Vampire Academy, she uses three real folklore breeds of vampires (Strigoi, Moroi and Dhampir) in her stories, because there were three kittens, and they were born on halloween the breeds were perfect fits. Strigoi bounced back from terrible sickness the fastest, she became a bit of a rebel/tomboy. She also sets off on her own around the house/doesn't always need to snuggle with her siblings, so she fit RM's novel Strigoi species the best.
