Arrival Story:
Isis was adopted from the Savannah, GA Humane Society along with her housemate, Savannah, in early August 2002. Isis had a tough first four months "out on the streets" before she was brought to the shelter. She has a thick scar on her neck and was found in a Food Lion parking lot under a car by her rescuers. Named "Nermal" by the shelter staff, she was the first kitten to grab the attention of her soon-to-be human mom.

Bio:
Isis got her name due to her resemblance as a kitten of one of those stereotypical Egyptian cats - sleek and slender. Isis is the Egyptian goddess of fertility (although MY Isis is spayed thank you very much!). She is still sleek although not quite as slender and she's got that oh-so-adorable "spay-sway". She is incredibly shy with new people but a very sweet girl once she's comfortable with you. She enjoys watching T.V. (a.k.a. looking out the window) and chasing the fish around the fishtank. She likes to pounce on, chase, and wrestle her housemate, Savannah too.
