Arrival Story:
My cat, Angel, went into heat at 6 months. (We were just planning to have her spayed). We even gave her to my neighbor to keep her from getting pregnant, but we were too late. She had 6 kittens. We were able to find homes for all, but she got out when they were 8 weeks old, and got pregnant again!! This time she had 7 kittens. My daughter wanted to keep one, Emmy, but I found her a home. One year later Emmy (now named Spazz) had a litter. Tigger was part of that litter, and we adopted him in October of 2003. So Tigger is Angels grandson. She recognized his scent, and even though she had been spayed, nursed him until he was about 5 months old.
