Arrival Story: Waaay back 10 years ago I heard that shelters needed foster homes. So I fixed up an old workshop into a cat room, called the shelter, and within 24 hours they brought me a pregnant cat. She was found living under a dumpster behind a store. I named her Bella, she was super shy but learned to trust me. I never fostered before, never had a pregnant cat or baby kittens. Bella had 4 kittens, and 2 died the first week. All that was left was a big fat black kitten and the little runt, also black. within another week the runt started to get sick.Oh no, I said, no more dead kittens on my watch. I rushed her to my vet, she had a huge eye infection, but my vet saved her little eye. Then she had URI, and again we rushed to the vet. They told me she probably wouldn't make it but to keep her warm. We did that, and she got well again. I was so happy, and adopted her. I found a home for her sister and Bella was adopted thru the shelter. Happy Ending!
