Arrival Story: Jameson was adopted from county animal control on a day that started out bad for both of us... It was supposed to be his last day as he was due to be PTS since he had been at the shelter longer than any other cat. I had woken up to see my car had been broken into when I had an important appointment at 8am. Well, the day certainly ended on a sweet note because Jameson was meant to be part of our furmily! What a sweet, friendly, playful boy! He is an absolute angel and I am so grateful to have adopted him!

Bio: Jameson was found as a stray at the end of August, 2011, in an Alachua County parking lot with a puncture wound in his leg and taken to the county shelter. I noticed his posting because his daddy is named Jamison with an "i"!!! Immediately, shelter volunteers added on their website that he was good with other cats, extremely friendly, liked his belly rubbed, was getting treated, neutered etc., and I was sure he would be adopted. Over a month later, I see his posted with an addition in caps "WILL BE EUTHANIZED" and was shocked. He had been at the shelter longer than any other cat and was due to be PTS the afternoon I arrived to get him. As soon as I saw him in his cage, he rolled over and gave me nuzzles and nudges and instantly became relaxed- I think he knew I was there just in time to take him home. I'm in love...
