Arrival Story:
I adopted a kitten after my kitten Romeo passed away from FIP. It was a darling little girl we named Deja Blu. She was a stray & I was unsure how old she was. Although I knew she needed to get spayed, I kept putting it off thinking I'd take her when she went into heat. She did what is called a silent heat & got herself knocked up. I was the worst pet parent in the world. I had a teen pregnancy in my house. I felt like the worst pet parent in the world. My husband & I agreed that we would let her continue the pregnancy & find homes for the kittens.
I was prepared for the birth & watched Deja like a hawk. I was positive she would need my help. On June 12th, 2009, we went to bed @ 9:30pm, at 11:00pm my son woke us up asking if we knew Deja had had her babies. We ran down the stairs like a buffalo stampede & looked at our new babies.
I have always loved male tabbies & had convinced my husband that we would keep one kitten & find the others homes. I took one look at Mookie & said "if that baby is a male, that's the one I'm keeping". He was less than an hour old & I was already deeply & madly in love with him.
Bio:
Mookie is from a litter of five kittens. Although we were only supposed to keep one kitten, we kept three. His brother Zeus & sister Pandora live with us.

My mom thinks I have a second home because I won't come home for a while. She thinks the other people who fell in love with me have tried to make me an inside kitty, but sometimes I escape & come back home. I obviously look like I'm not fending for myself.
Even though I am two years old, I am much smaller than my brother & sister. I use my small size & make my meow very tiny too. It almost always gets me what I want ;-)
