Arrival Story: Tweety came to live with us in Oct. 2000. My grandson just fell totally in love with her and she with him. From the time she was just a tiny kitten up till the time she passed she would sleep with him right at the top of his head and almost always have one paw hanging down on his forehead.
Tweety was leash train, a very gentle kitten. No one could ask for a better feline friend. She got out a couple of times without her leash on. 2nd time she got pregnant. Tweety had 4 kittens in Aug. 2001. They were with us till Nov. when I found loving homes for all of them. A week after I found homes for Tweety's sons was Thanksgiving. We had a lot of family over and someone forgot to close the door. Tweety escaped and was hit by a car. Our beautiful Tweety Kat, barely a year old was gone. Though it has been almost 10 years, my grandson and I still miss her. The Lil'Tweet, as Elijah's middle name comes from Tweety, Grandson said he looked like her.
